Ben Collongues

Ben Collongues (pronouns: he/they) is a young professional and small business owner from the Greater New Orleans area. He is the owner of Ben Collongues Photography, LLC, where he aims to capture through coexistence. Ben specializes in portraiture, lifestyle, and product photography and has been a member of the Stealth Bros & Co Creative Content Board since 2018.

In 2017, he became the Event Coordinator for Southern Transmasculine Alliance (STA), a chapter of Louisiana Trans Advocates (LTA). Ben also serves as a Community Expert with a TGNC Affirming Care Strategy Team working to create system-wide healthcare changes for gender variant communities and is a member of the November Project - New Orleans DEI Committee. He has been a panelist for “Treating the Trans Patient” and two other panels organized by the Tulane and LSU Schools of Medicine during Tulane’s 2020 LGBTQ Health Week. Most recently, he organized and managed a fundraiser to support House of Tulip and to purchase protective measures for local TGNC folks.

Ben is a US Navy veteran who served as an Aviation Electronics Technician for 5 years. He holds a bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University and a graduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Health Care Management from the University of New Orleans. He lives in Gretna, Louisiana with his 13-year-old dog and longtime best friend, Baxter.
